The Process - Maths Tutor Redlands
I provide one-to-one maths tuition either from my home studio in Cleveland or I'll come to you at no additional cost, usually once or twice weekly. I charge $90/1hr session.
I am happy to meet with the students and their parents prior to the first session (free consultation) for an informal chat to introduce myself, this consultation is not essential, as many just like to get started. During the free consult there is no formal assessment, it's just to make sure we're all on the same page. Teachers are often a great resource, so where possible it is handy to ask the classroom teacher to provide information on where the student is at currently. Once we are all happy with the plan, we work out our starting date and time.
I believe wholeheartedly that outside of learning to read, learning maths is the most important aspect of an education. I have made the career choice to depart from the education departments and follow my passion to focus solely on tutoring students on a one-to-one basis.
